For nearly twenty years, I rose through the ranks at places like Levi’s and partners like Amazon and Macy’s, fanning the flames for global brands while my own tank wasn’t just empty—it was bone-dry. I hit clinical burnout three times before I realized the truth: as millennial working moms, we are silently drowning in a system that wasn’t built for us to thrive.
We’re expected to be “career warriors” while navigating the massive shift into motherhood, all while maintaining high performance in the equally high-demand worlds at work and home. We’re told to work like we don’t have kids and parent like we don’t have a career.
As we scaled our careers and grew our families, we were never given the tools to manage the sheer weight of it all. Without a map or bridge to help us orient to this new high-stakes life, we’ve defaulted to the only strategy we know: pushing harder and just pushing through. So we keep running on that golden hamster wheel, mistaking survival for success, sprinting on fumes until the soul goes quiet.
Why I Created Millena Wellness
After graduating from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I founded Millena Wellness and created my Millena Wellness Method because a "self-care Saturday" isn't going to fix a nervous system that’s been on high alert since 2018. Our systems weren't built for us to thrive—they were built for us to endure. But you deserve more than just "enduring" your own life.
I saw a deep need amongst my fellow burnt out colleagues and friends that many corporate wellness programs and other more conventional methods were just not even scratching the surface on regarding the root cause of burnout because it’s deeper than just needing to “take some time off” — the Millena Wellness Method is a science-backed integrative approach to stress management and burnout recovery via personalized coaching so you can return to a life of agency & vitality again.
